Photoshop Brushes
I had someone come up to me last week explaining how he used to use photoshop years ago and wanted to get back into it. So i showed him some things to work on and learn.
I used a couple of brushes while doing this, which confused the shit out of him … somehow. So i thought i’d post a few basic tips and links to some brushes, patterns and textures on here incase anyone else used to roll with it and lost it all.

These are the two brush sites i use if i ever need brushes.
Installing brushes:
For those who dont know how to, download your brush file which will be in .zip format normally. Unzip it and find the .abr file this is the brush file you need to place into the correct folder.
The folder being;
Mac:
Applications>Photoshop>Presets>Brushes
PC:
Program Files>Photoshop>Presets>Brushes
The same is true for patterns, textures etc. they’ll be a different file format but will be in the correct folder within the preset folder.
A simple change makes a massive difference.
